What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.
Cookies we use
Nothing in the analytics or marketing categories below loads until you accept. If you decline, none of those cookies or scripts are set at all. Only the strictly necessary entries are present before you make a choice.

Cookie lifetimes for Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity, and Apollo are set by those providers, not by Goldline, and the durations shown are their published values. Providers may change them without notice to us.
Managing your choice
The consent banner appears on your first visit and offers accept and decline with equal prominence. Your choice is recorded as gl_consent in your browser's localStorage, so the banner does not reappear on later visits.
There is currently no preferences link that re-opens the banner. To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser, which removes the gl_consent entry and any cookies already set. The banner will then appear again on your next visit and you can choose differently. Scripts already loaded during a session in which you accepted cannot be unloaded before you close or reload the page, but nothing further is sent once you decline.
You can also configure your browser to reject all cookies. If you do, some parts of this website may not function as intended, specifically, form submissions and interactive tool features.
Third-party services
When you submit an enquiry form, data is processed by Supabase, our database and email service provider. That processing is necessary to answer you and does not depend on your analytics choice.
If you accept, five further providers are loaded. Plausible Analytics measures page views without setting cookies and without tracking you across other sites. Google Analytics 4 measures how many people use the site and how they move through it. Google Ads measures which of our adverts led to an enquiry. Microsoft Clarity records session replays and heatmaps, which means your interactions with pages, such as scrolling, mouse movement, and clicks, are captured and can be played back. We state that plainly because it goes further than counting page views. Apollo is a business-to-business visitor identification tool that we use to understand which organisations visit the site, rather than to identify you personally.
Google Analytics and Google Ads are operated by Google, and Microsoft Clarity by Microsoft. Data collected by these providers, and by Apollo, may be processed outside the United Kingdom under those providers' own international transfer arrangements, including the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. If you decline, none of these providers receive anything.
