Defence Cyber Certification
Referred to as DCC. An organisation-wide certification scheme delivered by IASME for the MOD supply chain, at Levels 0 to 3, launched in May 2025, with annual attestation and full recertification every three years. Under Industry Security Notice 2026/02, dated 30 March 2026, a current DCC certificate at the relevant level or higher must be accepted as assured evidence that the corresponding DEFSTAN 05-138 controls are met for DEFCON 658 purposes.
Why it matters: MOD has asked industry partners to reach Level 0 by 31 December 2026. It is a customer requirement, not a legal obligation.
