The international standard for information security management systems. The current edition is ISO/IEC 27001:2022, published 25 October 2022. Amendment 1:2024, published 23 February 2024, added climate change considerations to clauses 4.1 and 4.2 and added no new controls.
Why it matters: it is the default procurement gate for UK and EU enterprise buyers.
